# Bulltrace

> Bulltrace is a terminal-style investment research and portfolio tracking platform for retail investors following a GARP (Growth At a Reasonable Price) approach. It provides a proprietary quality scoring system built on free cash flow analysis, covering 260+ publicly traded companies.

## What Bulltrace does

Bulltrace gives investors a single terminal-style dashboard combining:

- A stock screener scoring 260+ companies using a proprietary GARP-based framework
- Portfolio tracking with real-time position monitoring
- A financial news feed relevant to tracked holdings
- Customizable, widget-based layout (users arrange their own terminal view)

## The scoring methodology

Bulltrace's core scoring engine evaluates companies through four sequential steps:

1. FCF Base Value — starting valuation derived from free cash flow
2. Quality Multiplier — adjusts value based on business quality metrics
3. Balance Sheet Adjustment — factors in balance sheet strength/risk
4. Fundamentals Penalty — reduces score for fundamental weaknesses

For companies with negative free cash flow, Bulltrace applies a separate Pre-FCF Survival Score instead, so early-stage or currently unprofitable companies are still assessed fairly rather than excluded.

## Data sources

Bulltrace pulls financial data directly from SEC EDGAR filings and Finnhub, giving scores a grounding in primary financial statements rather than third-party estimates alone.

## Pricing

Bulltrace is freemium. The free tier gives access to the terminal with capped features: some screener categories are hidden, and data for non-US stocks is unavailable without creating a free account. Registered free users unlock additional categories and non-US stock data. Full access (uncapped screener, all categories, complete data) is available via a 14-day free trial, no credit card required, converting to $14.99/month or $119.99/year after the trial.
